Newfoundland Trip

Wednesday everyone arrived by 6:00 PM and we all had a nice salmon dinner at a local restaurant.

Thursday we went whale watching; there were whales all around us feeding on small herring otherwise known as sardines. It was a wonderful trip; sunny and calm. We saw many other items of interest including; salmon farms and harbor seals.

This is a lighthouse in New Brunswick.

Harbor Seals

Fin Whale they can grow to 88 feet in length.

This was one of the Salmon Farms in the area. There are about 100. It takes about 18 months for the salmon to grow to harvest size of about 24 inches. It takes about six years in the wild for the same amount of growth.
