We are sitting at the ferry terminal waiting to be loaded in an hour or so. The wind is really blowing; it looks like it will be a long trip, 13 to 18 hours. We left Saint John’s, what a great city. We had a good time and there was much to see. We would like to return someday. In this update there are also some photos from the Clark's beach area. It is amazing how much US history there is on this island. The ferry we are about to take is located on and old naval base; the largest one ever outside of the US. And all of the legends in aviation have flown from here at one time or the other.
We should be on PEI some this weekend.
It is called the Veiled Virgin and is made out of carved marble including the veil
The photo does not really do it justice.
